Everything is explained to them, matter of fact, in a relaxed manner. No fear, and I don't think they even have the notion that a dental exam (or cavity filling) might be scary.
I had a really nice experience with Dr Cho here. I really appreciate that she did the exam herself, rather than a hygienist. She's friendly and warm... She gives practical advice without being an alarmist. She has great bedside manner. The rest of the staff is also knowledgeable and friendly.
Kindness and professionalism is a rare combination! There is a confidence in a dentist who takes such care to make sure that the procedure was done to perfection with little to no pain. Highest of praise to Dr Wise and his staff for a very positive experience for a very frightened 92yo with a very low pain tolerance!
I am absolutely terrified of the dentist. Which I managed to put off for a very long time, and allowed my teeth to turn extremely bad. Between my nerves and my embarrassment, I was a mess. The staff was beyond understanding and made me feel at ease.

She asked how I was doing on a regular basis and with the help of her excellent dental hygienist, performed quickly and efficiently. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes with a smile on my face.
